Commission Inquiries

I will post a link to my commission application form when they are open. You must be of legal age to commission me.I am currently only doing Live2D rigging and animation commissions.I work closely with https://twitter.com/BarghestBlackVT if you are in need of a model. For any other art models I require the original artist’s handle and form of contact and the original PSD. If art is provided by the client for the commission (ie not drawn specifically for the commission by BarghestBlack, myself, or any external artist), I reserve the right to charge additional consultation/layer set-up fees.

Animations/Expressions

  • Expressions: $20+ per

  • Additional Animations: $100-$200 per, depending on cut and character design

What are expressions? Like smiling and frowning?"Expressions" in this context refers to special emotes that, for the most part, cannot be made by a real human face and thus cannot be face tracked. They typically include unique eye or other face parts.Googling "Nendoroid faces" or "Animal Crossing reactions" can give a good idea of them as well!

What's the difference between an expression and animation?Expressions tend to be face-focused where as animations will be more full-body movement added onto it.Expressions are typically toggle-able and can be used with normal face tracking.Animations usually include the expression toggle, but also a short animation that plays with a hotkey as well.

FAQs

  • What face tracking application do you recommend?

  • I am biased towards Denchi’s VTube Studio. https://denchisoft.com/ It is available for iOS, Android, and Steam and has fantastic documentation and easy set up. I recommend it either for iOS or for PC while using an iOS device as a camera. I find it offers the highest fidelity!

  • Will your models and rigs work for other applications?

  • Yes! Part of the package will include testing and consultation to make sure your character is brought to life properly in whatever application you decide to use!

  • Can I get a discount for less physics, only certain parts rigged, etc?

  • I apologize, but I hold my work to a minimum fidelity standard and as such package plans cannot be modified!

  • A part of my model looks strange/broke while using it in my app!

  • I do extensive testing with each model and rig before providing you the final product, but ultimately different webcams, settings, etc. can cause certain things to fall through the cracks. I will correct minor distortions/warping for you free of charge after the commission is completed!

  • Do you do full hand tracking?

  • I will rig full hand tracking if desired but do understand that the feature is still new and thus constantly changing! In its current state it is quite costly and I have full confidence it will get easier to do and thus be cheaper for everyone involved! That being said I will do it as long as you have a good understanding of the pros and cons!
